Seriously?

Highlights from the past week

In the last 8 days we had two parties to attend, two dinner parties to host, and a night at the symphony.

I went into the bathroom to do a short job, and Guy climbed up to get a black marker, colored all over himself, and rolled on my couch while the ink was still wet.

While washing my hands at the kitchen sink (back turned for 25 seconds), and Guy grabs a small pumpkin off the dishwasher and smacks Leo in the head with it a few times. Hard. Wind-up hard.

Guy still wears diapers during naps, as he is in a crib. Today he pooped, took the diaper off, and then put on underwear and his pants. Instant laundry day!

I just spent an hour doing dishes. Didn't get them all done, but got close. This is with a dishwasher.

I cooked acorn squash, butternut squash, and beets, all for the first time this past week. All were excellent. Also made dinner in a pumpkin with feta, bacon, and swiss. I love good food.

And now? I need to fold laundry. And go to bed so I can get up at 5:45 to work out. I hope it's not cold.

Love y'all.

Wow, your week makes mine sound like cake. I am so glad Vince never went through the "I'm poopy and I don't care" stage. Heh, in fact, today he saw some pancake batter on my white shirt and told me "Ew, poo poo!" Ha ha. You go girl. You are always an inspiration to me. I read your blog to remember the kind of mom I could be if I tried really really hard :)
