We've had a MARVELOUS time here in Michigan with family. The boys are absolutely in love with Oma, Opa, and their aunts and uncles. I'm sure they'll be sad to leave them when we pull out of the driveway tomorrow, as will I. The company has been tremendous, we've had lots of fun (and lots of late nights to prove it!).
Tomorrow we drive to Kirtland, OH to take a look at the Whitney Store and the Kirtland Temple. From there we'll drive to Pittsburgh, where we'll stay the night. In the morning I'm excited to ride the world's oldest incline people mover thing, and see the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh. Then it's to Arlington, VA to visit a family that Josh lived with for one summer in Germany.
(I'm open to suggestions for good day trips in the D.C. area that are family-friendly and cheap or free)
This time next week, we'll be getting ready for the last leg of this super fun vacation (it really hasn't felt like moving) and heading down to Chapel Hill! I'm already getting e-mails from the Relief Society, and I'm excited to see our new place.
Love to you all,

Canada?
So, Tuesday morning I drove into Canada with Josh, his oldest brother Tom and his wife Nikki, and Josh's youngest sister Liesl. We went to Niagara Falls, and then drove on to Palmyra, NY. Today we went to the Palmyra temple and did a session.
We saw E.B. Grandin's print shop, the Joseph Smith farm and homes, the Sacred Grove, Hill Cumorah, and got to watch the movie Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration (which Josh and I had never seen).
Tomorrow we'll go to the Toronto temple before heading back to Michigan.
The kids have been with my in-laws in Michigan this whole time, and this trip has been such a delight and lots of fun.
Just thought you might like to know!

Update
California was awesome.
But somehow, somewhere, I contracted Hand Foot and Mouth Disease.
This means I have small painful blisters that are popping up all over my hands and feet and a few on the roof of my mouth and tongue.
And it's highly contagious, so fat chance I'm going to ask anybody to take my kids. The doc said I should put myself in reasonable quarantine. But in good news, there's no risk to the baby.
Let's just say I've cried a bit today. Stressed. Tired. The kids are overall doing great, but there are moments every day when I can tell they need a bit more sleep and a bit more attention.
