So, Tuesday morning I drove into Canada with Josh, his oldest brother Tom and his wife Nikki, and Josh's youngest sister Liesl. We went to Niagara Falls, and then drove on to Palmyra, NY. Today we went to the Palmyra temple and did a session.
We saw E.B. Grandin's print shop, the Joseph Smith farm and homes, the Sacred Grove, Hill Cumorah, and got to watch the movie Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration (which Josh and I had never seen).
Tomorrow we'll go to the Toronto temple before heading back to Michigan.
The kids have been with my in-laws in Michigan this whole time, and this trip has been such a delight and lots of fun.

Disregard my comment about your upcoming trip in the email I just sent you. :) Glad you enjoyed your trip. we will be in Palmyra in less than a month! We are excited for our trip as well. We miss you.
A long awaited break? Sounds fun. I loved going to the print shop.
Sure sounds delightful to me - I may never come back permanently, JK. I'd miss my kids too much, but a week would be heaven.
