We've had a MARVELOUS time here in Michigan with family. The boys are absolutely in love with Oma, Opa, and their aunts and uncles. I'm sure they'll be sad to leave them when we pull out of the driveway tomorrow, as will I. The company has been tremendous, we've had lots of fun (and lots of late nights to prove it!).
Tomorrow we drive to Kirtland, OH to take a look at the Whitney Store and the Kirtland Temple. From there we'll drive to Pittsburgh, where we'll stay the night. In the morning I'm excited to ride the world's oldest incline people mover thing, and see the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh. Then it's to Arlington, VA to visit a family that Josh lived with for one summer in Germany.
(I'm open to suggestions for good day trips in the D.C. area that are family-friendly and cheap or free)
This time next week, we'll be getting ready for the last leg of this super fun vacation (it really hasn't felt like moving) and heading down to Chapel Hill! I'm already getting e-mails from the Relief Society, and I'm excited to see our new place.
Love to you all,
Little Miss American Traveler

si.edu has info on visiting the Smithsonian with kids. It is free, as is the zoo. If you need any educational "scholarships" to do other stuff--I know an old softy here!
sounds exciting! and tiring...
P.S. Rachel tells me about every other day how she's going to marry Guy when she grows up. We miss you guys!
Just go see the National Mall. There's about a bazillion things to do that are free and fun, not to mention beautiful surroundings. Glad your trip is going so well.
