We've been floating along without a good budget or healthy habits of tracking expenditures for the past few months. The time has come to be more diligent with this aspect of my life.
So I'm printing off a couple of monthly budget worksheets that I liked using from my family finance class, and I'm hoping to get a better idea of just what we're spending. Unfortunately, I know we're spending too much on food. Even if I am pregnant and nursing, we can eat healthier for less than we're spending now.
I also want to deep-clean my bathroom this week. Scrub the tub and shower, move everything out to mop, and scrub down some yellow spots on the walls. It really needs to be done, along with the kitchen (next week's goal). I also am doing laundry right now, and am hoping to reclaim my bedroom. Currently the loveseat is piled high with clothing, mostly clean but not put away. Problem here? Maternity clothes! I have clothes in my closet that don't fit, both too small and too big. I'm in between regular and maternity clothes.
Oh, and cleaning out the fridge. That's on the list this week. As is a meeting with the 1st Counselor in the bishopric, a community aide meeting, a Mary Kay party, my ModBe party, and yet ANOTHER direct sales party. It's only Tuesday, and I'm already feeling tired.

What is ModBe? I am going to try to come to the MaryKay thing, but I might need to be at school for a little while (we don't have school on Friday though--teacher work day). And...Budgets are good :) Good luck with yours.
