The kids got up at 6:30. I got them out of bed a few minutes before 7 after I couldn't ignore the crying anymore.
Church doesn't start until 2 p.m. This leaves a LOT of time to fill without going to the playground or watching TV.
It's not been a very obedient or pleasant morning at times, and I just noticed that Guy turned my crockpot off.
The crockpot that has dinner in it for Josh, so that he can (or rather, would have been able to) eat right when he gets home.
Let's just say I spent a few minutes shut in my room eating a candy bar, and while it helped, I still feel completely overwhelmed by my non-restful Sunday.

I feel for you Emily. We know days like that all too often. Maybe I should hide some candy bars in my room...
Lol! I love the eating the candy in seclusion part!
It sounds like maybe you need to lower your expectations that Sundays will be restful--and stock up on candybars! :)
