In 20 minutes today, I earned $15 selling off stuff. It really is a good feeling, to be clearing ourselves out, giving things to people who want them, and trying to simplify, simplify, simplify.
What!? Congratulations on the 3rd baby! You are a trooper...after 2 girls, I figure I'll wait a few years before THINKING of having another baby. Good luck, hope everything goes smoothly! By the way, I am beating myself up for not being at the library with Levi that last time...wish we could have visited. Good luck on your resolutions too!
The military community here has a post-wide yard sale 4 times a year. It is fabulous. Basically, you rent out two parking spots and set up all your stuff. And then you make oodles of money. The next one is in a few weeks and we are going to sell just about everything (except the kids - and we might just if we get a good enough offer ;) ha ha, just kidding of course) It's a great feeling to liberate yourself of "stuff." A book on the subject is "the happy minimalist" - highly recommended by myself.
