Josh is sick of math camp after 3 days (12 hours of lectures) of high-level mathematical proofs.
I'm sick of pregnancy. And sick of sweating so much that I am ALWAYS dehydrated, no matter how much I drink.
A member of the bishopric came by to extend a calling this evening, and after talking to us for a while said, "Wow, I'm feeling impressed to hold off on this. I don't think this is the right thing." Essentially saying that the bishopric didn't realize how pregnant I was, and how stressed we're going to be for the next little while.
And while we were chatting, Leo climbed out of his bed and came out.
Did you catch that?
LEO CLIMBED OUT OF HIS BED. MY LIFE AS I KNOW IT IS OVER.

Reading your blog sure has me missing your humor, your frank conversations about life as a mom. :)
YOU ARE DOING AMAZING THINGS!!
Hang in there, friend!
Yea for a Bishopric who considers how busy you'll be before extending a calling!
Maybe if you ignore it Leo will stop? (wishful thinking...)
I think there should be a roof you can put on cribs, or a way to tie kids in until they're done sleeping. But alas I think that's considered child abuse or something... :)
I am afraid for that day. I think it might happen sooner than I expect too. Who thought that kids were so smart?
We got door knob covers so that they can't open the doors and get out of their room, it gives you a little longer before they figure that out.
Tessa-- that's really not a bad idea. As it stands, Leo will come to the door, open it, say "Bye-bye" and slam it shut and laugh.
My problem is Vince climbing into Joseline's bed... but he doesn't know how to get out *grrr* (he never slept in a crib) So he keeps her up, and right now the three of us sleep in the same bedroom, and there's not really another option :(
I agree with the childproof knob on the inside of the room. We did that with Vince. Unfortunately he figured it out after a few months. But it lasted a little while.
We love you guys! You're awesome!
It's called a crib net, Emily. I've heard really good things about them.
We miss you. Wish I could be there to take the boys.
I like this post. I have other things to say, but I'll save it for another time. Reading your blog gives me hope.
I just miss you.
