No phone call yet

So probably no husband today. Tomorrow, I can hope. I'm fine with another day, after all one day compared to seven weeks is not long at all. But poor Josh has little to keep him occupied. He told me this weekend that he's written more than 90 pages in the journal he received for Christmas. Whoa.

And can anyone teach me how to get my three-month-old to nap? Seriously, everything was fine but now he wants to be awake all the time. He hardly even nurses to sleep anymore and won't take swaddling (which worked great to get him to pass out until now). He does great at night still--his worst night was sleeping from 8:30 until 7 a.m. with one or two feedings in there.

But this nap thing I never got quite right with Guy, and I *need* my kids to be napping.

Help!

Not to make this sound bad, but try a pillow over his head when you swaddle him. For some reason, when I laid Sienna (and it worked for my niece, too) down swaddled with a pillow either right next to her face, so she could tuck her nose in it, or laid a light pillow on top she would fuss for a few minutes (you know Sienna - she's was stink'n mad!), but then would go sound asleep. It's just wether you are ready for them to cry themselves asleep. It took me another month, I think, before I could stand it with Sienna!
