Things I have learned from my three days in Philadelphia:
Lightning bugs are really cool!
Smokers? Very not cool.
I will never take a nearby and safe playground for granted again.
I hate having to lock three doors behind me when I leave the house.
It's very hard to convince Guy to go down our apartment's stairs without being carried.
I love being two blocks from a grocery store.
I hate carrying a purse, stroller, groceries, and dragging Guy behind me up a flight of stairs.
I like the city. But I miss my friends.
I love, love, love familiar places.

So is it hot? It seems like lugging all that stuff up the stairs would be more than 15 pounds. . . Connor and I are jealous of the lightening bugs--just today we were wishing we had some.
It is not cool, but we're managing pretty well. It doesn't help that Josh wakes up freezing in the morning and I wake up all sweaty. Ick.
And I'd bet the stuff is more than 15 lbs--which is why I take it up in shifts. Royal pain.
Luckily it's only for the summer :) That really is not fun lugging all that up stairs. We lugged our luggage all around Russia and it pretty much sucked--cause we always seemed to be staying on the 4th floor or an old building with no elevator. I couldn't have done that with a baby and being pregnant!
What an experience :) Do you guys have any plans for the 4th?
Thanks for letting me be apart of your blog. Luckily you will be back in familiar territory in a few weeks.
