Sunday, Sunday

It's been a really relaxing weekend.

We did hardly anything. We watched Lars and the Real Girl (Shauna--you need to see this film if you haven't already). We watched some episodes of Monk. We ate breakfast at this awesome little bakery. We walked down to the botany pond and saw a family of ducks, some enormous fish, and four turtles. Guy liked the fish the best, I think.

We ate at an awesome Indian buffet. We went to church where Guy did great in nursery and I did terribly in Relief Society. Not my favorite RS lesson ever.

We all napped during a thunderstorm this afternoon. We threw socks at each other, and sang songs.

It's been a lovely weekend.

And next week? I get to pack! And clean! And go to Scranton where I can see Amy and go swimming! Hooray!!!

I really liked "Lars and the Real Girl", too. Did you see "Dan in Real Life"? I liked that movie, also. Are you going to go sight-seeing at all? I hope so. Life is easy here--hope you have a great week. I am going to try Amy's recipe for pecan log--I lost my mom's recipe and have been sad so I am anxious to give it a try (thanks, Amy!)

Yum pecan roll :) I hope it can be an okay substitute for you. It's really yummy. And I love relaxing Sundays. It's fun to just rejuvenate--and I liked reading about your church experience. What fun :) We're excited to see you guys and chat!
